When I was drawing just now there was a smallish earthquake. I jumped up to run but then got so caught up in untangling my tablet wires so I could gently set it down that I just gave up and sat back in the chair mid-quake

I've never heard of anyone judging anyone else for spending their money, that's their money, man. Okay maybe if they had like a child that needed doctors bills or dentist stuff, and the person was buying trivial things instead, then that would be sucky but wow it's YOURS BUY EVERYTHING WOO!

GOSH thanks for saying that!! I know that’s true, it’s just hard for me to really think that way. I can’t help but be nervous that people are sitting there UPSET AT ME. Which is dumb and doesn’t make sense, but it’s something I need to work on! You’re right, people don’t care and if they do it doesn’t matter!

GOSH I have weird issues when it comes to spending??

I don’t know why but I get SO EMBARRASSED about spending any money that isn’t for something I need! Even commissions and stuff that I get sometimes I don’t want to reblog because I’m worried that people out there are sitting and thinking “wow she sure is wasteful with money”. I HATE IT I wish I could just not feel that way

It’s not like I do spend a lot either, I really love good deals and stuff. Like my phone bill is super cheap because I found a cool cheap company and I spent forever buying a good affordable tablet… I don’t buy clothes often and if I do it’s a $10 tee shirt from one of those good deal sites….Maybe it is that I worry that I spend too much money on extraneous goods?? Maybe I’m just trying to reassure myself. My boyfriend is NOTORIOUS for saving pennies and clipping coupons so maybe I’m just used to people spending less than average??

I DON’T KNOW I JUST DON’T WANT TO BE JUDGED. I get a lot of anxiety over this issue and I’m not sure how to handle it sometimes SIGHS SORRY FOR THIS EVERYONE

I seriously commissioned her like 4 days ago and not only is she already done, but this thing IS PERFECT OK.

I sent her like 4 or 5 different characters to pick from even though I was hoping this guy would work. But how could I ask someone to make that CRAZY of a plush?? NOPE this is a perfect thing that she made even though this design has pretty specific colors and just a whole lot going on.

I actually couldn’t be more pleased with this. I love all the tiny details like the paws and claws. You also got his face totally perfect. One thing I love about plushes is seeing how they reflect not just the style of the person sewing them, but the style of the reference images as well. It’s really neat!

Thanks so much for this! I’ll have to post more pictures when he gets here or something. I am so happy ;A; If I can save up more many from work and stuff in the next year I will be returning for more!

I have one of these too and wrote a review that was much worse. SO read this if you’re still interested!

I have to add that I have had to send mine in for repairs once. The repairs were free, but the shipping wasn’t. (It also wasn’t cheap because it’s heavy) ANYWAYS THOUGH It just stopped turning on one day. They told me that it was a power surge (though none of my other electronics had any issue with that??) and to always plug it into a power strip instead of an outlet. I’ve followed their advice since then but unfortunately mine sometimes takes a lot of fiddling with to get it to turn on. I’m pretty sure it’s a problem with the cord connecting into the little converter (boxy thing on power cords).

OVERALL GOOD TABLET THOUGH. Great review too!!

Ok I’m gonna make a text post about my porcupine species guys.

So I’ve thought of a few more things for them! I might want to name them prickledillos I think that’s cute.

AND I want them to vary based on region/habitat. The ones I’ve been drawing so far will be similar to badgers in that they dig a lot and are just heavy set and tanky. I want there to be a tree climbing variety that have longer bodies and more even limb length.

Also I’m thinking that the diggin variety in particular is notorious for stuffing seeds in between their plates. That way they can have plants and stuff associated with them.

I’ve been messing with their faces as well. I might give them a more reptilian (turtle/tortoise in particular) face. Maybe some angular mouths and little nose horns.

That’s all I have so far. I have one planned out already. She’ll be super pale and have very little coloration and she stuffs a TON of seeds in her plates so that the leaves will grow out and keep her shaded and protected from the sun. Yellows and saturated greens paired with pale pinks! Oh and I want another one to have cactuses growing from his back but I’m afraid they’ll look like prickly tumors oop

I thought I had 12 classes left to take and at 4 a quarter and 3 quarters left that’s maybe doable. I was thinking I’d do one extra summer session but I realized I have an additional 20 units on top of that which is another 5 classes so +2 quarters UHHHHGHGHGHGH
